The Mumbai–Ahmedabad corridor will utilize Japan’s Shinkansen bullet train technology. Trains are designed to operate at speeds of up to 320 km/h. This is expected to reduce the 508 km journey time to just over two hours, cutting travel time by around four hours compared with current rail services.
