The first of 60 monorail cars has been delivered to the Indian city of Mumbai for its under-construction $549m (RM1.85bn) monorail project.

The car has been manufactured by Malaysian firm Scomi Group and consortium partner Larsen & Toubro under the $53.6m (Rs24.6bn) turnkey contract for 15 four-car trains.
