Introduction

Nominations are now open for the 2024 edition of the “Railroader” awards, recognizing women in the North American rail industry. This year, the scope of nominations has been broadened to include women working for rail industry associations.

Eligibility and Categories

Companies can nominate up to four employees for the awards, with one nomination per category allowed. The awards are open to women employed by North American Class I railroads, short lines, regional railroads, passenger railroads, and rail industry suppliers, contractors, product manufacturers, or engineering firms that contract with railroads.

Expanded Scope

For the 2024 awards, nominations will also be accepted for women working for rail industry associations.
