Lotos Kolej Orders Diesel Electric Locomotives

Lotos Kolej has ordered six diesel-electric Traxx locomotives from Bombardier, totaling €18.6 million, equipped with 2,400kW capacity and tractive force of 300kN, meeting European exhaust emission limits level IIIA standards, with an option for four additional units scheduled to be delivered in mid-2011.

Polish rail freight operator Lotos Kolej has placed a €18.6m order with Bombardier to supply six diesel-electric Traxx locomotives.
The locomotives have a 2,400kW capacity and tractive force of 300kN, and comply with the latest European standards for exhaust emission limits level IIIA. The contract includes an option for four more locomotives.
The delivery of the vehicles is scheduled to begin in mid-2011.
