Chizhou-Huangshan High Speed Railway Project Construction Begins
As the Chizhou-Huangshan Railway project kicks off, offers from constructors are being welcomed by the China Railway Construction Corporation (CRCC).
According to Anhui News Website; Designers and surveyors are being asked to showcase their proposals as the construction of the rail .

The latest project will join the currently ongoing construction of the rail that links Hangzhou, the capital of East China’s Zhejiang Province, and Huangshan. Once the railway is complete, it will link Anhui’s Anqing to Nanjing, the capital of Jiangsu Province in East China.

He also said a preliminary feasibility report is currently being written out for the whole project.
According to assistant general manager of CRC Huang Min, the high-speed rail will enhance the tourism sector in cities that surround the Yangtze River Delta, ranging from Wuhan To Hangzhou. He also requested constructors to speed up the project so that it can be among Anhui’s first groundbreaking 13th Five Year Plan (2016-2020) projects.
The Chizhou-Huangshan speed rail will pass through tourist attraction destination such as Jiuhua Mountain, a major Buddhist destination, and UNESCO World Heritage Site in Huangshan Mountain.
Huangshan will be a stop for four-speed rails: the in-operation Hefei-Fuzhou railway, the under-construction Hangzhou-Huangshan railway, the Huangshan-Nanchang railway, and the and the Chizhou-Huangshan rail.
