Alstom has been awarded a EUR 42.1 million contract by the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) for the detailed annual maintenance of Bombardier-made metro trains, associated machinery, plants, and housekeeping services for both the trains and the Badli Depot.

Contract Details

The contract encompasses the maintenance of onboard signalling equipment installed in all 103 trains on Lines 1 & 2. The signalling services scope includes failure diagnosis, technical support, and spare provision for Onboard ATC & Under frame ATC equipment. Alstom will also supply and install data logger cards for improved diagnosis.

Scope of Work

The scope of work includes scheduled and corrective maintenance of trains, maintenance of depot-based machinery and plant systems, and overall housekeeping services for both the trains and the depot at Badli. Alstom will implement full-spectrum integrated maintenance, including corrective, preventive, and overhaul services tailored to DMRC’s evolving requirements.
