Azerbaijani Railways (ADY) informs that this question has become the main one during the meeting of ADY chair Javid Gurbanov with Turkish ambassador to Azerbaijan Erkan Özoral.

Gurbanov, in particular, informed that work on the upper structures of the Georgian section of the railroad has been finished, and the road can be used up to the border with Turkey with the help of diesel locomotives.

In his turn, Ozoral said that Turkey fastens work on its section and wants to complete them for possibly shortest period.

Earlier, Turkey promised to end the construction before the end of 2016.
