Introduction

Metro-North Railroad introduced its eighth Heritage Series locomotive, a tribute to veterans, following input from a 12-member veteran committee and a survey of veteran employees. The locomotive, featuring military uniform patches and an American flag design, was displayed at Grand Central Terminal in New York City for Veterans Day.

Locomotive Design and Features

The Heritage Series locomotive’s design incorporates military uniform patches from all U.S. Armed Forces.
