Nominations are now open for recognition of women in the North American rail industry, encompassing Class I railroads, short lines, regionals, passenger railroads, and rail industry suppliers, contractors, product manufacturers, and engineering firms. This year’s nominations also extend to women working for rail industry associations.

Eligibility and Categories

Companies are permitted to nominate up to four employees, with one nomination per category. The recognition program is open to women employed by various entities within the North American rail sector.

Inclusion of Rail Industry Associations

For the current year, the scope of nominations has been broadened to include women who are employed by rail industry associations.

Nomination Guidelines

The nomination process allows companies to submit up to four candidates. Each candidate must be nominated within a specific category. The program aims to acknowledge the contributions of women across a wide spectrum of roles within the rail industry.
