The resident courses will be held at SERTC’s facility in Pueblo, Colorado. These courses will range from 40 to 80 hours. They will feature full-scale props and scenarios for live drills.

Remote courses, designed for flexibility, will last between four and 16 hours, enabling groups to train on location.

Contract courses will be offered for industry partners and sponsors. These can be delivered remotely or as resident courses at SERTC’s training facility.

Expanded Access

In 2026, SERTC will expand access to its training programs. Open enrollment will be available for the Alternative Fuels and Flammable Incident Response and Management (AFFIRM) course.

This initiative allows trainees who may not qualify for Federal Emergency Management Agency grants to access training opportunities.
