Bridge Rehabilitation on Wheeling & Lake Erie Railway

The bridge, constructed in 1903, spans the Tuscarawas River and links customers along the Ohio River to WLE’s main yard in Brewster. The original design of the bridge accommodated two tracks, facilitating the installation of new spans on existing foundations, thereby minimizing disruption to rail customers during construction. The total cost of the project is approximately $3.3 million.
