North American Rail Seeks 25 Rising Stars; Nominations Due Feb 6, 2026

The submission period is open for the 2026 “Rising Stars” Awards, an industry recognition program for professionals in North America’s railroad sector. The program will identify and honor twenty-five individuals who are making a positive difference in their organizations. A nomination deadline has been set for February 6, 2026.

To be considered, nominees must be younger than 40 years old as of September 1, 2026. An additional requirement is current employment within the North American rail industry. The program defines a “Rising Star” as an individual viewed by others as a future leader who contributes to the success of their company, department, or team.

Candidates must affirm their willingness to participate in the full award process. This includes an obligation to answer questions from the program organizers and to supply a photograph suitable for publication. This material will be used in promotional and celebratory content.

The twenty-five selected professionals will be honored during a virtual celebration scheduled for July 22, 2026. The format of the event is entirely digital, allowing for broad industry participation.
