Alstom established a dedicated training facility for welding and assembly at its plant in Mátranovák, Hungary. The center is focused on the production of bogie frames for rolling stock and provides instruction for both new technicians and existing personnel.

The training area is equipped with 10 welding stations, a cutting machine, and two jib cranes. Component clamping devices and other equipment are identical to those used on the main production floor at the Alstom facility, allowing for direct transition from training to manufacturing operations.

A specialized curriculum covers an 8-to-12-week period, combining theoretical instruction with practical training in metalworking and equipment handling for bogie fabrication. The Mátranovák plant has also secured accreditation as a dual training center, enabling formal collaboration with regional vocational education institutions in Hungary.
