Skanska will Built Prague Subway Extension

Skanska has secured a CZK3.7bn contract from Prague, Czech Republic, to work on extending its subway line A, including energy installations, air-conditioning, and communication systems.

Skanska has won a CZK3.7bn ($219.6m) contract from the city of Prague, Czech Republic, for technical work on the city’s subway extension.

Prague’s subway line A is currently undergoing a six kilometre extension, with four additional stations.
Skanska will be responsible for building energy installations, installing air-conditioning for the subway system and installing a communication system.

Skanska’s part in the project will start immediately and is expected to be completed by autumn 2014.
