Turkey plans to open the Eskisehir-Kosekoy high-speed railway in 2013 as part of its ambitious Ankara-Istanbul high-speed line project.

Turkey’s Transport Minister Binali Yildirim said the country is planning to open the Eskisehir-Kosekoy high-speed railway in 2013.
The 187km double-track railway is expected to be part of the Ankara-Istanbul high-speed line.

China Railway Construction Corporation is part of the consortium that is building the Eskisehir-Kosekoy section and the Chinese Government has granted a loan of $730m to fund the project, according to demiryolu.net .
