According to TransNamib acting CEO Hippy Tjivikua, an settlement signed in late September with China Railway Materials (CRM) of Hong Kong is a vital milestone in a ten-12 months agreement with Dundee Precious Metal Tsumeb.

By way of this, the railway is to buy ninety tankcars for the transport of sulphuric acid from Tsumeb to Arandis.

The tankcars will comply with specifications offered by Dundee Precious Metals Tsumeb. The acquisition follows a earlier buy by TransNamib of tankcars from CRM.
