TMH Opened Service Point in Mongolia

Service division of CJSC Transmashholding – LLC TMH-Service has opened an affiliate at Ulan-Bator railway.

Service center is located in Ulan-Bator depot. Holding experts have undertaken maintenance of mainline freight diesel locomotives 2TE116UM and shunting locomotives TEM18DM. At the present time Ulan-Bator Railway has just received those locomotives, and TMH-service provides their guarantee maintenance. Service center is responsible for regular inspection of locomotives, carries out maintenance and necessary repair. Fleet under service will reach 35 mainline and 13 shunting locomotives till the middle of 2001.

Locomotives are supplied to Mongolia in accordance with the contract, concluded between CJSC Transmashholding and JSC UBJD dd. 28th of October, 2010. Priority task for the service center in Mongolia is provision of qualified maintenance of the diesel locomotives, which will facilitate their failure-free operation during all their life cycle. Storage room of spare parts, which are in demand during locomotive maintenance, is arranged on the basis of the service center. It allows to maximally reduce the time of the locomotive stay at depot. Components, spare parts and consumables are supplied from Transmashholding enterprises. TMH-service was found in 2010. Its tasks include organization of premium service of rolling stock, produced by Transmashholding enterprises, during the whole period of its operation, and first of all – at the network of JSC Russian Railways.

Creation of authorized service system has allowed the Holding to move to a new level of cooperation with the key partner and ensure higher level of technical availability of the Russian Railways locomotives.
