Scotland’s Glasgow Airport could get a new train station if plans submitted to Scotland’s Renfrewshire Council are approved.

The station is part of the city’s £210 million rail link, due to be completed in 2011, when four passenger trains will run every hour between Glasgow Airport and Glasgow Central.
An application to build two platforms close to the main airport terminal is awaiting approval by the Council.
