Europorte, the freight operations subsidiary of Getlink, has introduced a cutting-edge tracing and monitoring system called Track Value, in collaboration with IoT solutions developer Kerlink. This innovative system leverages IoT sensors and Kinéis’ space connectivity to revolutionize freight management across land, sea, and air. By digitizing multimodal transport activities, Track Value enhances service quality and reliability through near-real-time data feedback and processing from anywhere in the globe.

Yannick Delibie, Kerlink’s technical director, highlighted the company’s role in developing tailored IoT connectivity solutions for Track Value. He emphasized that this partnership represents a significant step toward more sustainable freight operations. The system provides rail operators with advanced features such as real-time goods security, issue detection, and predictive maintenance, ensuring smoother and more efficient logistics.

Europorte’s chairman, Raphaël Doutrebente, expressed enthusiasm for the partnership, noting that Track Value addresses the growing need for secure and efficient freight transportation.
