A webinar exploring the integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in the GB rail industry, focusing on improving planning, safety, and efficiency of services, will be held on 14 October 2025 at 14:00 (UK TIME). Speakers and Expertise
The webinar will feature several speakers from the RSSB. Luisa Moisio, Director of Research at RSSB since 2017, leads a cross-industry programme funded by the Department for Transport, delivering innovative solutions across engineering and operations. Vaibhav Puri, Director of Sector Strategy, joined RSSB in 2004. Paul Leach is the Head of Human Factors at RSSB. Vincent Ganthy, Principal Futures Lab Systems Engineer, joined RSSB in 2021. Barbro Arnes Human Factors Specialist, RSSB, will also be speaking.
RSSB’s Role

Luisa Moisio has a background in analysis and consulting, with degrees in Decision Science and International Economics. Vaibhav Puri has expertise in analysis and system performance, holding a civil engineering degree, an MBA, and an MSc in Operational Research from LSE. Paul Leach is a Chartered Occupational Psychologist and has been applying Human Factors expertise for 20 years. Vincent Ganthy is a chartered engineer with over a decade of experience, bringing technical insight into system safety and regulatory frameworks.
