Turkey’s first high-speed train route between the central provinces of Ankara and Eskisehir is to start test runs next month, according to Turkish State Railways officials.

With the infrastructure in place, testing and signalisation along the line is expected to begin soon. Test runs between the two cities is expected to go on until autumn, with plans to start high-speed train services at the end of this year.
