Teleste Corporation has entered into a four-year framework agreement with Société Nationale des Chemins de fer Français (SNCF). The contract mandates the Finnish company to supply new passenger information displays for installation across the French national rail network.

The scope of the agreement includes the delivery of outdoor-rated TFT LCD screens. These systems are specified to provide real-time traffic information to passengers at stations operated by SNCF throughout France. Financial details of the framework agreement were not released.

As part of the project, the new display technology will be integrated directly into the existing information technology infrastructure of SNCF. This integration is intended to manage the flow of operational data to the displays and support maintenance protocols for the hardware.
