CNR Datong will Supply Hexie Trains to Belarus Railways

Datong Electric Locomotive Vehicle has signed a CNY700m contract with Belarus to supply high-power Hexie trains, featuring advanced AC drive technology and self-diagnostic capabilities, for speeds up to 120km/h.

Datong Electric Locomotive Vehicle will supply high-power trains to Belarus under a CNY700m ($102.5m) contract.

The Hexie trains, complete with advanced AC drive technology, will have a total power of 9,600kW and run with a speed of 120km per hour.
The trains will have an in-built capability to self-test and diagnose faults, according to english.people.com.cn.
Datong is a subsidiary of China CNR Corporation.
