Xuanyou emphasised the importance of Afghanistan to China’s New Silk Road. He recommended that Afghanistan, China, and Pakistan hold discussions to construct new economic corridors through construction of railway lines.
Ghani said that his country wants to have strong relations with all of Afghanistan’s neighbors.
Peshawar and Quetta have significant Pashtun communities who also make up the majority of ethnic people in Afghanistan.
