Bombardier Transportation has secured a rail contract in Latvia to modernize its signalling system with the Interflo 200 signaling technology.

Canadian-based Bombardier Transportation has won a rail contract to modernise Latvia’s signalling system.

The contract includes the manufacture, supply and installation of the Bombardier Interflo 200 signalling system on Latvia’s east-west routes.
The Interflo 200 system has been designed specially for high-density main lines.
Traffic control centres and communications and power equipment will also be installed as part of the project.
Bombardier led a consortium for the contract worth approximately €41m, of which Bombardier’s share is around €12m.

Covering railway investments, public transport modernization, rail operations and international mobility projects across Europe, Asia and North America.
