Bombardier will Supply ERTMS for Algeria

Bombardier Transportation has secured a contract to deliver its European Rail Traffic Management System for the Saida-Moulay Slissen line in Algeria, including Interflo 250 ERTMS Level 1 solution and other components valued at approximately €12 million.

Bombardier Transportation, in consortium with Site, has won a contract to deliver its European Rail Traffic Management System for the Saida-Moulay Slissen line in Algeria.

The company will deliver its Interflo 250 ERTMS Level 1 solution for the 120km line. Bombardier will receive about €12m ($15m) of the €19m ($24m) contract.

The project also includes the Release 4 Bombardier EBI Lock 950 computer-based interlocking system, the EBI Screen central traffic control centre, EBI Switch 500 point machines and the EBI Track 2000 train detection system.
