Bombardier Talks with TM Holding

Canadian transportation company Bombardier is exploring potential joint venture opportunities with Russian rail manufacturer Transmashholding following recent investments and agreements made by the two companies.

Canadian-based transportation company Bombardier has announced it is holding talks with Russian rail manufacturer Transmashholding concerning its third joint venture in less than a year.

Bombadier says it is in “very preliminary” talks with Transmashholding with regards to a new project.
The two parties announced their agreement to invest in two other joint ventures last May, including a project to manufacture traction converters.
They have also previously invested €12.5m in propulsion technology on rail projects.

Railway infrastructure, rolling stock and transport technologies specialist focused on global rail industry developments, high-speed rail systems, signaling technologies and freight transportation. Covering railway investments, public transport modernization, rail operations and international mobility projects across Europe, Asia and North America.
