RZD and Talgo have Signed Cooperation Agreement

Russian Railways and Spanish company Pantentes Talgos have signed an agreement for scientific and technical cooperation on rolling stock development.

The cooperation includes development manufacturing, operations and maintenance, the harmonisation of regulatory frameworks for high-speed rolling stock and a new generation of rolling stock and infrastructure.
The cooperation will focus on the exchange of experience in operating high-speed rolling stock, and engineering support on the construction, repair and maintenance of rolling stock and infrastructure.
The partnership will also work on adapting rolling stock with pneumatic carriage suspension to Russia’s climatic conditions, as well as the introduction and use of automatic gauge-changing of rolling stock.
